many other things to do first! There was school, work, fun - not
especially in that order. The good thing about this long way round to real estate is the wide ranging experience Duncan gained along the way. Much of it is relevent to his career in real estate sales, which began in 2004. In effect this is his second career in real estate, the first being a decade of practicing law here in Victoria.
Duncan has lived from coast to coast, but he and his wife settled in Victoria in 1990 after twenty-five years of military service, some as a pilot but most as a military lawyer. In Victoria, Duncan has been a community volunteer, including rotary service (past president of Royal Oak Rotary) and service as a volunteer director of the Mount Newton Centre Society.

twenty-five year old information management company leader in the Venezuelan market. At the age of twenty, after becoming disillusioned with my future financial prospects as a teacher for children with special needs, I took advantage of an opportunity to study German at the Ludwig Maximillian University in Munich. Back in Venezuela I continued my German studies at the Goethe Institute and became the executive assistant to the Director of a German multinational, where I met a German entrepreneur to whom I was married for eighteen years. In 2000 we moved to canada in search of a safer and brighter future for our children.
A writer at heart, I published a romance in Spanish and my first historical novel in English is being published in Canada in 2009.
